Teens Tuesdays 7/22
Teens Tuesdays are free programs for teens to expand their art-making skills and connect with other teen artists! Located in the galleries, the program includes sketching, upcycling, and other creative projects, guided by Educators and inspired by current exhibitions. Join us to build your art portfolio, meet other teen artists, or hang out with your friends! Teens of all experience levels are encouraged to join, including those new to art making.
FREE, open to all young people (ages 13–19), and no prior experience needed. Free museum admission, MetroCards, snacks, and materials will be provided. This is a drop-in program, but RSVP beforehand to save your spot for one or more sessions.

Mind’s Eye: The Reach of Faith Ringgold
Mind’s Eye programming is for participants who are blind or have low vision. Join us for a tour of the current exhibition: The Reach of Faith Ringgold, who is a renowned artist, writer, and activist.
Visitors will also see works from the collection by European modernists such as Marc Chagall and Pablo Picasso, who inspired Ringgold, as well as contemporary American artists whose work reflects her legacy.

ASL Tour of Beatriz Milhazes: Rigor and Beauty
The Guggenheim welcomes visitors from the D/deaf community for an in-person American Sign Language (ASL) tour! Join us at the museum to explore our Collection in Focus exhibition Beatriz Milhazes: Rigor and Beauty.
This after-hours program will be led by educator Joyce Hom. We’ll begin with a tour of the galleries followed by a light reception and art-making activities in the education center.

Build your own art and architecture adventure on this FREE Family Day! Museum admission and program activities are included with advance registration, which includes access to hands-on projects and guided tours throughout the galleries.

Educator Drop-In Program
Join us on the first Tuesday of each month for a session including museum admission, hands-on activities in our café, and take-home classroom resources. Come on your own, bring a colleague, or connect with other educators at the program! Free. Registration is required.

Sunday Funday: Time Together with Guggenheim Family Programs
Celebrate the final day of Harmony and Dissonance: Orphism in Paris, 1910–1930 with a family-friendly day of art and exploration. Build your own adventure with hands-on activities, guided gallery tours, and creative projects inspired by the exhibition. Free with advance registration—space is limited!

Students First: A Night at the Museum
Experience an exclusive, free evening for undergraduate and graduate students, filled with art, music, and creativity. Celebrate the final weekend of Harmony and Dissonance: Orphism in Paris, 1910–1930 and explore Mondrian’s abstract masterpieces. Enjoy hands-on art-making, jewelry design, poetry, and a live DJ set by Justin Dean Thomas. Complimentary refreshments included, with beer, wine, and snacks available for purchase. Free with student ID; $15 for recent graduates and faculty.

GuggTeens Sustainable Studio @ The Guggenheim 6/12/24
Connect with others who are interested in artmaking and sustainability as we reimagine the future of climate impact in the studio and beyond. During these free, twice-monthly programs, we will explore current exhibitions, experiment with environmentally friendly studio practices, and learn about sustainability at the museum.
This series is free, open to all young people (ages 13–19), and no prior experience is needed.

NYC teens are invited to join us for GuggTeens Sketching Sessions, a FREE, drop-in program to expand drawing skills and connect with other teen artists! Teens will sketch from artworks on view in the galleries using experimental prompts and with Educator guidance. Join us to build your art portfolio, meet other teen artists, or hang out with your friends! All levels of experience are welcome, including teens that are new to sketching.

Guggenheim Open House: Unexpected Materials
Build your own adventure through hands-on, inclusive activities for all ages in the Guggenheim Museum’s galleries and studio classrooms.
This month, investigate how artists use unexpected materials in the exhibitions Going Dark: The Contemporary Figure at the Edge of Visibility and By Way Of: Material and Motion in the Guggenheim Collection. Come to the open house for artistic explorations for all ages, playful story time for younger art lovers, and more technique-focused, sketching and studio sessions for teens highlighting sustainable practices.
Free. Museum admission and program activities are included with advance registration; space is limited. When registering, please select your arrival time.

Only the Young In-Gallery Performance: Kim Kulim @Guggenheim
Kim Kulim works across diverse mediums, including painting, installation, film, happenings, and Mail art.
As part of Only the Young: Experimental Art in Korea, 1960s–1970s, the Guggenheim Museum presents a public program series that focuses on the performance practice of three artists in the exhibition.

Guggenheim Family Open House: Art-Making for All Families
Explore the Guggenheim Museum’s architecture at your own pace and find your inspiration here through sensory-friendly, hands-on activities in the galleries and art studios at this inclusive, drop-in program. This event is part of the city-wide Archtober Festival.
