Celebrate the beauty of the season and a timeless Chinese artistic tradition! Grab a brush and join MOCA teaching artist Yu Rong for a special Chinese calligraphy workshop. Practice the eight basic brush strokes (永字八法) and learn how to write the Chinese character for summer 夏!

This program is geared towards children ages 6-12, and will be done on a drop-in basis. It has been designed as a way to explore brushstrokes in a fun, creative way with informal guidance available from our teaching artist.
